Yoga, workshops, retreats & Fitness

I have training and experience in a variety of styles of yoga, meditation, sound/gong meditation and breathwork/pranayama and offer one on one, family, group, team and corporate classes. Whether you’re just getting started or wanting to improve your safety and technique in practice, I have worked with all levels and bodies and continue to learn and increase my knowledge through my own practice, reading, online and training. I have spent the last 2 years diving into various forms of functional fitness training, spinning, HiiT, Muay Thai, weight/resistance & core work to add this knowledge and experience to share with others on their journey of health.

I have created and hosted a number of workshops on the following subjects.

  • Guided Meditations and Yoga Nidra

  • Mantra/chanting, sound/gong meditation

Get in touch to come on retreat at Samahita in Thailand, either on the Yoga Core Cycle program or with a group of friends on your own tailor-made program. I’m always keen to collaborate with other teacher’s and like-minded humans to create that special, memorable and restful getaway which we all need from time to time!

Private Chef & Dietary guidance

Trained at Christina Martin School of Food and Wine in 2000, I have many years of experience locally in SA and in the UK. I’m continuously researching and diving into books and articles on nutrition, diet, food production, farming, agriculture and environment which all have an impact on our health. As part of my wellbeing mentorship, I offer cooking lessons and healthy eating advice that is tailor-made, for you and the family to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Or if you are hosting a retreat and can’t do it all yourself, I can take care of the kitchen for you!

Wellbeing

Having always enjoyed the outdoors, animals and the natural world, I love getting my hands in the soil and gardening. Being a trained chef with an interest in gardening, farming and Ayurveda, I feel it is important to understand HOW our food is grown and what impact it has on the environment as well as the human body. Through my own ongoing research, self-study and experience, I believe current diet culture and labelling is not sustainable or healthy in the long term. We are all unique individuals, with different needs, living in different parts of the planet and must use our resources wisely to create a healthy, happy sustainable future.
